Data and licences
The datasets behind the showcases on this site, and how each is credited.
The showcases on this site are GroundMap processing of public survey data: real places and real surveys, processed by GroundMap. They are not commissioned client projects. Each source is credited below with its licence as the source states it; the fonts and the code the site uses follow.

Survey data
Hobart City 2023/24 LiDAR from theLIST © State of Tasmania. Captured by Fugro for the State of Tasmania. Obtained via ELVIS (Geoscience Australia). Licence: CC BY 3.0 AU.
Climate Futures Derwent 2008 LiDAR. Captured by DiMAP for ACE CRC. The LiDAR Dataset was collected as part of the Climate Futures for Tasmania project; a project managed and delivered by the Antarctic Climate & Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre. The dataset was funded primarily by the State Government of Tasmania through the State Emergency Service and the Commonwealth Natural Disaster Mitigation Program. Obtained from theLIST (State of Tasmania) via ELVIS (Geoscience Australia). Licence: ACE CRC licence (Australia wide; commercial use, adaptation and sub-licence).
Mount Wellington 2011 LiDAR, flown 20 to 28 January 2011, obtained via ELVIS (Geoscience Australia). Licence: No licence on record. ELVIS catalogues this survey under 2010, as Mount Wellington River Derwent 2010.
Accuracy: the source data should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional site-specific surveying. Climate Futures data above the 10 m contour received less quality control than the coastal zone (source metadata).
